USMC authorizes PMAG

US Marines Corp. authorized use of Gen M3 PMAG for combat use. USMC will also use US Army's EPM(Enhanced Performance Magazines), but for training purpose only.

PMAGS were prohibited from use 4 years ago when USMC found out it doesn't fit with M27 IAR. After redesign and testing, it is now good to go with the USMC. Also authorized is the new Medium Coyote Tan.

S&W M&P 2.0

This pistol is probably the entry S&W submitted for the US Army's MHS trial. While exterior looks similar except for bigger slide lock and some cutout just above the rail, the rumor is that internals are different. Namely, the internal parts are modular.

Bushmaster Arm Pistol

This pistol was made in response to US Air Force's request to get a survival firearm and contract was signed but it was cancelled in 1988. The early versions ahd charging handles on the top, while as later ones had it on the side.

It uses AK-style action and AR magazines.

FBI recently approved use of ROMEO4M Red Dot Optic. While it is unclear if the optic performed on par with its competitors, it means it has met FBI's requirements. While many pointed out that it looks like Holosun, some people mentioned that the particular model was not made in China, and quality is different.

This is a big victory for Sig Sauer as they brought in some people from Leupold and has been working on a system of accessories package.

It features 2MOA dot and 65 MOA circle, similar to EOTechs
