NSSF(National Shooting Sports Foundation) released an adjusted version of NICS check for January 2016. Instead of NICS report of 2.5 million, it is closer to 1.4 million. The adjusted figure took out checks performed for CCW permits.
The 17 year graph shows sales rose over the years.
