Sometime ago, Soldier Systems reported that USSOCOM found problems with EOTechs. In extreme temperature, the reticle would lose its zero. Now, Soldier Systems Daily is reporting that US Government is suing L3 Communications for failure to disclose test results that demonstrated this problem.
Update: Soldier Systems have update on the settlement L3 Communications made with US government. The accusation is pretty damning, with EOTech known flaws for many years yet not informing DoD as contract required.
On the other hand, Aimpoint Micro T-2 is now adopted by the FBI HRT since July. FBI's another unit, Defensive Systems Unit will use H-2. H-2 is not out on commercial market, but it will be a more economical version of T-2 without NV capability.
FBI HRT will use Sphur mount for their Aimpoint T-2s
