ATF announced they are going to take a new look at the framework regarding M855 ammo reclasification. ATF stated that the majority of comments they received were negative and "further evaluate the issues raised therein, and provide additional open and transparent process"
This is by no means they are giving up on reclassification, but rather will attempt to do it later.
