M9A3 ws proposed to US Army as an upgrade to current M9/M9A1 and was rejected, but the features added to this gun is definitely an improvement.

Grip is now slimmer and less bulky, magazine release is reversible and armorers can easily swap out decocker/safety in to various configurations. It also utilizes dovetail sights so sights can be swapped out easily. The gun is finished in Cerakote finish
