2000 meters is a long distance. The longest snipershot with .338 Lapua was made by CoH Craig Harrison of UK in Afghanistan, at 2,475 meters. (This is the only confirmed shot over 2000 meters with .338 Lapua. Others were mostly .50 BMG)
