San Diego Sheriff released a press release stating they will not pursue en banc decision regarding Peruta vs. San Diego. The only other way en banc can be considered is if one of judges of the 9th Circuit calls for one. The deadline for such request is March 6th.
This ruling is having an effect as Orange County announced they will comply with the ruling. However Los Angeles County has made it clear that they are not interested in current situation and will hold on to their process.
