It seems like Remington Military will hold a raffle for M24 rifle system. Defense Review wrote an extensive article about it including some information about the rifle itself.(The system has rifle, optic, case, and most of the original accessories)
There is no word on when the raffle ticket will go on sale, except it seems to be really soon(mid-January). Raffle will take place in Las Vegas on 20th(end of SHOT show). (Here's the raffle flyer)
Remington Military is producing these rifles mostly from spare parts that were available when the M24 rifle was concerted to XM2010 ESR. These will be built with new M24 barreled action.
Other than the raffle, the rifle will be sold on first-come, first served basis, with 5 different priorities. (check the flyer)
